Henry Bont Jr.

Mr. Henry Bont, age 98, died May 30, 2012. He was born March 29, 1914 to Henry & Kate (Diephouse) Bont and married Ruth DeVries on December 3, 1938. He worked at Sealed Power for 39 years before retiring and was a longtime member of Berean Church. SURVIVORS Daughter, Bernice (Walter) Salisbury; sons, Allen Bont, Richard (Joyce) Bont; 10 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; 9 great great grandchildren; brother, Ellsworth Bont; sister-in-law, Eleanor DeVries. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ruth, 3 brothers, Dick, John, Isaac; 8 sisters, Hilda, Anna, Katie, Katy, Alice, Jessie, Henrietta, Jennie; great grandson, Michael Durnell; daughter-in-law, Sandra Bont. SERVICE Saturday, June 2, 2012, 11:00 AM at Berean Church with Pastor Daniel Wilson & Pastor Dwight Reed officiating. Interment at Mona View Cemetery. VISITATION Friday, 6-8 PM at Clock Life Story Funeral Home - Muskegon. MEMORIAL: Donations to Harbor Hospice would be appreciated.
