RAY, MRS. HENRIETTA "HANK" Muskegon Mrs. Henrietta "Hank" Ray, age 86, died Thursday, July 13, 2006. She was born in Ellsworth, MI on April 27, 1920 to Albert & Jessie (Tjapkes) Medema and married Gerald Ray on June 10, 1939. Mrs. Ray had been employed as a Waitress at Bill Stern's Steak House for many years & in the Catalogue Dept. at JC Penneys. She was a member of Laketon Bethel Reformed Church and was an avid bowler, golfer & traveler. For over 25 years she enjoyed spending her summers on Upper Silver Lake and her winters in Palmetto, Fl. SURVIVORS 1 son, Jerry (Kathy) Ray of Seattle, WA; 1 daughter, Sharron (Larry) Gunn of Twin Lake, MI; 5 grandchildren, Michael (Debbie) Gunn,Scott (Kelli) Gunn, Jerry (Jennifer) Ray, Bryan & Spencer Ray; 4 great-grandchildren, Aaron, Alec & Cameron Gunn & Mackenzie Ray; 3 sisters, Jennie Nummerdor of Muskegon, Joan (Bud) Beaucamp of Muskegon, Marlene (Bill) Eller of Fenton, MI; 1 brother, Ernest (Pat) Medema of Muskegon; 2 aunts, Gert Skok of Muskegon & Clara Teunis of Spring Lake, MI; many nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Gerald on March 10, 2006 & by 3 brothers, John, William & Jay Medema. SERVICE Wednesday, July 19, 2006, 11:00 AM at Laketon Bethel Reformed Church with Dr.Sherwin Brantsen officiating. Interment at Oakwood Cemetery. VISITATION: Tuesday, 7-9 PM at the Clock Funeral Home-Muskegon & 1 hour prior to the service at the church. MEMORIAL: Laketon Bethel Reformed Church or NOAH Project of Muskegon.
