VANDEVREDE, MRS. HELEN FRANCES Norton Shores, MI Mrs. Helen Frances VandeVrede, age 92, died Friday, August 1, 2003. She was born in Marion, IN on May 8, 1911 to James Otis & Pearl Smith Ruse & married Isaac VandeVrede in Grand Rapids, MI on September 26, 1933. Mrs. VandeVrede had been employed as a Telephone Operator & Supervisor at Michigan Bell Telephone Co. An accomplished pianist, Mrs. VandeVrede served by playing the piano at Lakeshore Baptist Church where she was a member. SURVIVORS 2 sons, Kent Pat VandeVrede of Hudsonville, MI & Russ Katie VandeVrede of Whitehall, MI; 2 daughters, Marty Ronald Boyce & Dee VandeVrede, both of Whitehall, MI; 12 grandchildren & 19 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Isaac in 1959. SERVICE Thursday, August 7, 2003, 10:30 AM at the Clock Chapel with Pastor Stan Yonkers officiating. Interment at Chapel Hill Cemetery.
