Helen Rogalla

Mrs. Helen K. Rogalla, age 92, died Wednesday, March 18, 2009. She was born in Milwaukee, WI on September 9, 1916 to Cornelius & Henrietta (Vanderstelt) Dykema and married Max Rogalla on July 27, 1938. Mrs. Rogalla had been employed as a Bakery Clerk at Braak's Bakery for 19 years until retiring. She enjoyed knitting, cooking, and baking. She will be greatly missed. SURVIVORS Husband, Max; son, Joseph (Rosemary) Rogalla of Coopersville; daughters, Frances (Charles) Irwin of Fruitport, Margaret DeWitt of Hershey; 8 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; brother, David Dykema of N. Muskegon; sisters, Katherine (Norris) Cross of Grandville, Dorothy Wierengo of Muskegon, Sarah (Daniel) Koepke of Grand Rapids; daughter-in-law, Sharon Rogalla of Muskegon. She was preceded in death by her son, James; brothers, Robert, Andrew, son-in-law, Jerry DeWitt. SERVICE Saturday, March 21, 2009, 11:00 AM at Fruitport Christian Reformed Church with Rev. Jerry Postema officiating. Interment at Fruitport Cemetery. VISITATION Friday, 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Clock Life Story Funeral Home - Fruitport. MEMORIAL: The Charity of Your Choice.
