Mrs. Helen B. Radisauskas, age 87, died Wednesday morning, February 21, 2007, in Lincoln, NE, where she has resided since 1999. Helen was born April 21, 1919 in Waukegan, IL to Ignatius and Mary (Bartulaitis) Burba and then moved to the Muskegon area in 1939. Helen was a communicant member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, Catholic Daughters, Altar Rosary Society and was an auxiliary member of the Legion of Mary. Helen was also a charter member of the Lithuanian Club. Prior to her retirement in 1981, she had worked as a coil winder at Anaconda Wire & Cable for 38 years. On June 24, 1939 she married Joseph J. Radisauskas and he preceded her in death on Nov. 18, 1967. She was also preceded in death by her son, Raymond, on May 22, 2006. SURVIVORS include her daughter and son-in-law, Mary Ann & George Oberembt of Lincoln, NE; her daughter-in-law, Jane Radisauskas of Albuquerque, NM; 3 grandchildren, Christina Radisauskas of Grand Rapids, Daniel & Monica Oberembt of Lincoln, NE and Jason & Janet Oberembt of Omaha, NE; 7 great-grandchildren, Dustin, Dylan, Kennedy, Indyana & Eastyn Oberembt of Lincoln, and Jay & Chandler Oberembt of Omaha. The MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be celebrated 10 AM Monday at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Phillip A. Sliwinski presiding. VISITATION with Helen's family will be 2-4 & 6-8 PM Sunday at The Walburn Chapel Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 1547 W. Sherman Blvd. 231-759-8565 where The Rosary will be prayed at 7PM.
