Helen B. Pyle

PYLE, MRS. HELEN B. North Muskegon, MI Mrs. Helen B. Pyle, age 87, died Tuesday, August 19, 2003. She was born in Alden, Michigan on January 11, 1916 to Fred & Mae Bailley & married Victor Pyle on April 20, 1935. Mrs. Pyle had been a member of Central United Methodist Church, sang in the church choir for 40 years & was on the administrative Board. She was a volunteer at Hackley Hospital for many years. Mrs. Pyle was on the boards of Y.W.C.A, United Way, North Muskegon Board of Education & Friends of Art. She was a trustee of Central United Methodist Church & for West Michigan Conference of United Methodist Church. Mrs. Pyle was President of West Shore Symphony Orchestra, United Methodist Women, Service League & Hackley Free Bed. She was a Dosent at Muskegon Museum of Art & a member of the Friends of Art. SURVIVORS 1 son, James Linda Pyle; 1 daughter, Linda Pyle John Hilt; 6 grandchildren, Adam Lorie Pyle, Allison Pyle Nick Potter, Betsy Pyle, Heather Hilt Bill Hensell, David Karen Hilt & Robert Jen Hilt; 10 great-grandchildren, Sean & Tyler Pyle, Maise Potter, Jake, Dylan & Karl Hensell, Calvin & Julian Hilt, Henry & Victor Hilt; 1 brother, Glenn Bailley; many nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor & her siblings, Margaret, Pearson, Bub & Irwin. MEMORIAL SERVICE Saturday, August 23, 2003, 2:00 PM at Central United Methodist Church.
