MCNAUGHTON, MRS. HELEN PHYLLIS Spring Lake, MI Mrs. Helen P. McNaughton, age 89, of Spring Lake, MI, formerly of Lansing, MI , died Wednesday, July 30, 2003. She was born on October 5, 1913 in Stephenson, MI to Edward & Alice Hubbard & married Basil McNaughton on October 11, 1933 in Jackson, MI. Mrs. McNaughton attended Forest Park Covenant Church in Muskegon, MI & was a member of Bretton Woods Covenant Church in Lansing, MI. She was a homemaker & enjoyed writing letters to her family & friends, flower gardening & spending time with her grandchildren. SURVIVORS Husband of 69 years, Basil; son, Robert Carol McNaughton of Middletown, CT; daughter, Marjorie William Gustafson of Muskegon, MI,; 8 grand- children; 16 great-grandchildren; 1 brother, Ted Lucille Hubbard of Traverse City, MI; sister, Edna Pratt of Lansing, MI. Mrs. McNaughton was preceded in death by her parents & 7 siblings. SERVICE Saturday, August 2, 2003, 1:00 PM at Deepdale Memorial Gardens in Lansing, MI with Rev. Paul Bengtson officiating. Interment at Deepdale Cemetery in Lansing, MI. There will also be services held on Friday, August 15, 2003 at 11:00 AM at Forest Park Covenant Church in Muskegon, MI & also on Monday, August 18, 2003 at 11:00 AM at Bretton Woods Covenant Church in Lansing, MI.
