HENRY, MRS. HELEN R. Grand Haven Mrs. Helen R. Henry, age 85, died Wednesday, April 7, 2004 at home. She was born in West Olive, MI on January 3, 1919 to Clare and Gladys Black Lewis. She was a homemaker, and a longtime member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Bible Study Group, and the Women's Auxiliary of the Grand Haven VFW. Helen had a passion for life, playing cards, family celebrations, and caring for the elderly and sick. Foremost was her family. SURVIVORS Son, Morris W. Judy Henry of West Olive, MI; 4 daughters, Patricia Meyer of West Olive, MI, Maureen Lt. General John Nowak of Spring Lake, MI, Bonnie David Wesorick of Grand Rapids, MI, Kathy Lee DeWitt of West Olive, MI; 19 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; brother, Clare Helen Lewis of Grand Rapids, MI; several nieces and nephews. A special thanks to Dr. Gordon Van Otteren. Mrs. Henry was preceded in death by her husband,Morris in 1986; brother, Kenneth; nephew, Eddie; sister, Jean; Uncle Rob; grandson, Sam; sons in law, Stan Rubleski and Bob Meyer. SERVICE Monday, April 12, 2004, 11:00 AM at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Grand Haven, with Fr. William Langlois officiating. Interment at Lakeshore Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, 6-9 PM, with prayers and a Celebration of Life video at 7:30 PM, at Clock Funeral Home, Grand Haven and also one hour prior to the service at the church.
