Helen A. Grevel GREVEL, MRS. HELEN A. (Widow of Harold) Muskegon Mrs. Helen A. Grevel, age 82, passed away Thursday morning, January 19, 2006. She was born in Cadwell, GA on August 21, 1923 to John W. and Nellie (Mackey) Bozeman, and had been a resident of Muskegon most of her life. She was a member of Hope Reformed Church and a former member of First Reformed Church where she was active in the Women's Guild. Mrs. Grevel was an avid golfer, enjoyed bowling, and volunteered at the Muskegon Rescue Mission. Helen was a loving mother and grandmother. One of her greatest joys was spending time with her grandchildren. In Lake City, MI on November 30, 1944, she married Harold Grevel and he preceded her in death on February 19, 2000. She is survived by 3 children, Terry (Barbra) Grevel, Nancy (Fred) Liebertz and Jack (MaryJo) Grevel; 7 grandchildren, Brenda (Jim) Daus, Terry (Sarah) Grevel, Tracy (Rob) Wolfe, Amy Liebertz, Julie (Randy) Behm, Michael (Tonya) Grevel and Melissa Grevel; 6 great-grandchildren, Katalin, Christian, Kennady, Alex, Andrew and Keegan; 3 brothers, John Bozeman, Jim (Adele) Bozeman and Mike (Nancy) Bozeman; 3 sisters, Peggy (Walter) Goetz, Lucy Mackey and Nell Mackey. She was also preceded in death by 2 great grandchildren, Jonathan and Hailey; her parents; 1 sister, Betty Greenblatt and 1 brother, Cecil Bozeman. SERVICES will be 4PM Tuesday at Hope Reformed Church with Rev. Steven Hyma officiating. VISITATION will be held 5-8PM Monday at Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 737 Apple Ave. 231-726-5210 and 3-4PM Tuesday at church. MEMORIALS may be made in Mrs. Grevel's name to the Muskegon Rescue Mission. INTERMENT will be in Restlawn Cemetery.
