Helen Patricia Dewind

Helen "Pat" (Panzl) DeWind passed away February 27, 2026. Born April 27, 1926, she lived all her life in Whitehall. She was preceded in death by her husband Gale, son Gary, daughter Dona (Smith) and son-in-law Raymond Smith. Pat is survived by her daughter Kerry DeWind, and grandsons Jacob (Lisa), Matt (Miranda), and David (Michelle), 4 great-granddaughters, and Louanne Fairbanks, love of son Gary.

In keeping with Pat's wishes, there will be no service. With consideration of her lifelong love of birding, contributions in her name may be sent to The Valley Land Fund, 2400 N. 10th St., Suite A, McAllen, TX 78501.
