Helen Clark

Mrs. Helen M. Clark, age 93, died Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at Providence Healthcare & Rehab. She was born in Gaylord, MI on August 31, 1920 to Myron & Myrtle (Barriger) Schoolcraft and married Charles Clark in March 25, 1938. Mrs. Clark had been employed for many years as electrical assembly line worker at Grand Transformers and more recently worked for a laundry mat until she retired from working in her mid 70's. She loved spending her free time doing puzzle books, knitting and crocheting. SURVIVORS Son, Cecil Clark of Grand Haven; daughters, Barbara (Roger) Sackett of PA, Karen Kruithoff of Zeeland; 15 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; brothers, Richard (Norma) Schoolcraft and Ren Schoolcraft of Afton; sisters, Rose Schippers of Coopersville and MaryJane (Stanley) Zimbicki of Gaylord; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; daughter, Claudia Bellaire; brothers, Marvin, Bill and Emerson; sister, Mildred. SERVICE Saturday, December 7, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. with visitation held 1 hour prior to the service at the Clock Chapel-Grand Haven with Rev. Ken Shady officiating. Interment at Lakeshore Cemetery Monday December 9th at 10:00 a.m.
