BIERMAN, MS. HELEN E. Grand Haven Ms. Helen E. Bierman, age 96, died Sunday, December 27, 2009. She was born in Grand Haven, MI on October 2, 1913 to Albert & Augusta (Schroeder) Schultz. Ms. Bierman had been employed as a laborer at Eagle Ottawa Leather Co. for 30 years until retiring. She was a long time member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ and Ladies Guild. She taught Sunday School, made the alter cloth for St. Paul's United Church of Christ and enjoyed crocheting, gardening & loved birds. SURVIVORS Children, Richard (Betty) Bierman Sr. of Grand Haven, Nancy (Dennis) Porter of CA, Judith (Frank) Schippers of Grand Haven, Joseph (Arlene) Bierman of Grand Haven; 15 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; 3 step grandchildren & 5 step great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews & cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughters, Lois Kuhlman, Joan Bierman; grandchildren, Joette Hathaway & Betty Porter; 3 brothers & 2 sisters. SERVICE Friday, January 8, 2010, 11:00 AM with visitation 1 hour prior to the service at St. Paul's United Church of Christ with Rev. John C. Carpenter officiating.
