Hedt, Melva

Mrs. Melva Hedt, age 94, died Saturday, December 16, 2006. She was born in Montague, MI on February 22, 1912 to Melvin Thomas & Ellen Edith (Wier) Dowling and married William Hedt on February 14, 1933. Mrs. Hedt had been employed as a nurse at Hackley Hospital for 40 years until retiring in 1980. She was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church. SURVIVORS Nephew, Donald (Loretta) Dowling of Wyoming; Great nephews, Tom Dowling, Scott Dowling, Adam Young; Great niece, Lisa Young; great-great nephew, Tim (Bradi) Dowling; great-great-great nephew, Andrew Dowling. She was preceded in death by her husband, William in 1969; her parents, Melvin & Edith (Wier) Dowling; sisters, Orianne D. Dowling, Esther Dowling and brother, John Henry Dowling. SERVICE Tuesday, December 19, 2006, 11:00 AM at Clock Chapel with Pastor Robert J. Conradt officiating. VISITATION Tuesday, 1 hour prior to the service at Clock Life Story Funeral Home-Muskegon.
