Hazel A. Mumby, age 91, passed away on October 26, 2008. She was born on August 27, 1917 in Howard City to the late Charles and Alice (Fisk) Heminger. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dort Mumby on December 17, 1981. Surviving are her three children, Beverly (Edward) Johnson, Robert (Ruth) Mumby, and Thomas (Jean) Mumby; 10 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Earl Heminger; sister, Edna Fechtenburg; and a sister in law, Myrtle Willis. A private family service will be held. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association.
