Hazel D. Martin

Mrs. Hazel D. (Underwood) (Bayne) Martin, age 86, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, June 24, 2008 at Heartland Health Care in Whitehall. She was born July 15, 1921 in Northville, MI to Arthur and Alice (Green) Crane. She was a member of Friendship Weslyan Church and enjoyed crocheting, plastic canvassing and loved to go camping. SURVIVORS: her sons, Jerry (Lyn) Underwood, Harry (Juanita) Underwood, Don (Janettia) Bayne, Richard (Mary) Bayne, Bill (Carolyn) Bayne, Jerry Messenger; daughters, Marcia Underwood, Cora Huggard, and Florance Glover; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Auda Underwood, Wesley Bayne and Carl Martin; sons, Jackie, John and Donald Underwood, Sr.; and her sister, Jean Martin. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held Friday, 11:00 a.m. at Friendship Wesleyan Church, 1761 N. Roberts, with Rev. Chad Fessenden officiating. VISITATION: Friday 10:00 a.m. She will be laid to rest in EgelstonTwp. Cemetery. MEMORIAL: Harbor Hospice.
