Harryetta Snyder

Mrs. Harryetta Iris Snyder, age 95, passed away Wednesday, December 17, 2014. She was born in Shelby, Michigan on July 25, 1919 to Harry & Mildred (Putney) Shaw and graduated from Cleary College in Ypsilanti and Hackley School of Nursing. She married Earl Snyder on July 2, 1948 and was a Registered Nurse for both Hackley and Mercy Hospitals for 30 years until retiring in 1978. Harryetta was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, the Missions Society and the Alumni Association of Nurses. She enjoyed needlework and gardening and was a faithful attendee of Shelby High School and Hackley School of Nursing reunions. SURVIVORS Harryetta is survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. SERVICE Monday, December 22, 2014, 10:30 am with visitation starting at 10:00 at Trinity Lutheran Church with Rev. Paul Appold officiating. Interment in Lakeside Cemetery. MEMORIAL: Trinity Lutheran Church Memorial Fund.
