Harold C. Wagner

WAGNER, MR. HAROLD C. North Muskegon, MI Mr. Harold C. Wagner died Saturday, September 13, 2003. He was 83. Harold was born January 9, 1920 in Tiro, Ohio. He graduated from Tiro High School & from Heidelberg College in Tiffin, Ohio. Harold was a WWII Navy Veteran. On April 22, 1944, Harold married Lila R. Hird in Cleveland, Ohio where they lived until moving to St. Joseph, Michigan in 1957. Harold worked at LECO until 1971 as a Chemical Engineer in the Ceramics Division, & then in 1972 moved to North Muskegon, Michigan where he worked for the Howmet Corporation in Whitehall, Michigan. Harold retired in 1985. He & Lila enjoyed homes in North Muskegon & Leesburg, Florida. Lila preceded Harold in death on February 2, 2003. SURVIVORS Harold is survived by three children: Fred Joan Wagner of St. Joseph, Michigan, Paul C. MicheleWagner of Newburgh, IN, & Karen Stan Andrie of North Muskegon, Michigan; seven grandchildren: Kathy, David, Crystal & Colin Wagner & Rebecca, Sarah & Kendra Andrie; three great-grandchildren, Ellen & Lila Duvall & David Wagner. SERVICE Friday, September 19, 2003, 11:00 AM from the First Congregational Church with the Rev. Michael Bush officiating. Interment in Laketon Township Cemetery, with Military Rites performed by the Muskegon County Council of Veterans. VISITATION Friends may greet the family one hour prior to the service, in the Monroe Parlor of the First Congregational Church. MEMORIAL: Music Program of First Congregational Church. CLOCK-Muskegon
