Harold Wade

Mr. Harold Wade, age 78, passed away Wednesday evening, May 23, 2007, at a local nursing facility. Harold was born on October 4, 1928, to Harry L. and Della (Houghes) Wade. On March 25, 1950, he married the former Sylvia Pontius in Muskegon and she preceded him in death on March 21, 2006. Harold was employed by Teledyne Continental Motors as a custodian for 42 years prior to his retirement in 1991. He was a member of Fifth Reformed Church and the Eagles. Harold is SURVIVED by his 5 children, Ron (Maria) Wade of Los Angeles, CA, Connie Clark of Bennington, MI, Carol (Jesse) Cisneros of New Era, Jim (Shelly) Wade of Whitehall, and Terry (Tamara) Wade of Muskegon; 12 grandchildren, Daniel, Ty, Ryne, Teresa, Jessica, Ben, Britni, Becca, Jacob, Aleia, Gabriel, and Frances; 8 great-grandchildren; a sister, Mildred Stenberg; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Sylvia; 2 daughters, Donna Wolters and Elaine Wade; granddaughter, Jessica Gardner; twin brother, Richard; brothers, Howard, Charlie, Roy, and Francis; and sisters, Mary, Lucille, Betty Jane, Ellen, and Norma Jean. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held 11AM Wednesday, May 30, 2007 at Fifth Reformed Church (2330 Holton Rd.) with Rev. Norman Swier officiating. VISITATION will be 2-4 & 6-8 PM Tuesday at The Sytsema Chapel Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc 737 Apple Ave. 231-726-5210 MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS may be made to the Fifth Reformed Church Memorial Fund. Interment will be in Restlawn Cemetery.
