Mr. Harold W. "Bud" Johnivan Sr., age 82, passed away Monday, February 9, 2015. He was born in Escanaba, Michigan on September 20, 1932 to Joseph & Viola (Derouin-Wade) Johnivan and served his country in the US Navy. He married the former Mary Lou Reed and was employed by Teledyne Continental Motors. After his retirement he started Signature Construction Co. Harold was a member of Anchor of Hope Church. Bud was an avid mechanic who enjoyed working in his church, construction work, building model ships and helping people. But foremost was always his family. SURVIVORS Wife of 62 years, Mary Lou; sons, Harold (Kate) Johnivan Jr. of Walker, John (Debra) Johnivan of Muskegon, Dale Johnivan Sr. of Muskegon; 4 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; brothers, James (Nancy) Johnivan of Muskegon, Joseph Johnivan Jr. of Muskegon. He was preceded in death by sister, Leona Ray; brother, Eugene Johnivan and a great grandson. SERVICE Tuesday, February 17, 2015, 11:00 am at Anchor of Hope Church with Rev. Edd Wilder officiating. Interment in East Dalton Oakhill Cemetery. VISITATION Monday, February 16, 2015, 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Clock Funeral Home - Muskegon.
