Harley L. Wambaugh Sr.

Mr. Harley Lavern Wambaugh Sr., age 82, passed away Thursday, March 21, 2019. He was born in Muskegon, MI on July 18, 1936 to Guy & Dorothy (Waddle) Wambaugh and served his country in the US Marines during the Korean Conflict. He married the former Donna McKenzie on November 14, 1959. Mr. Wambaugh had been employed as a Supervisor for Arlington Display until retiring. Harley was a member of Sullivan Community Church and loved golfing, gardening, music, working in the yard and spending time with his children & grandchildren. SURVIVORS Children, Harley Wambaugh Jr., Guy (Vicky) Wambaugh, Tonja (David) Schoonbeck, Verna (Scott) Davis, Vonda (Tony Russell) Wambaugh, Terri Baumgarten; grandchildren, Tasia, Tashena, Tabitha, Blake, Jessica, Nichole, Billy Joe & Kellie, Thomas, Justin, David, McKenzie, McKenna, Brayden, Tessa, Nathan, Aaron, Mark & Madison; 17 great grandchildren; brother, Ronald Mike Wambaugh; sister, Teresa Anderson; very dear to his heart, Robin Oudsema & Verna Blamer; special nurse, Joy Frazier; many loved nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Donna in 1987; siblings, Bernard, Gloria & Neil. SERVICE Tuesday, March 26, 2019, 11:00 AM at the Clock Chapel - Muskegon with Pastor Rick Rogers & Thomas Schoonbeck officiating. Interment in Abson Cemetery. VISITATION Monday, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Tuesday one hour prior to the service at Clock Funeral Home - Muskegon. MEMORIAL: American Cancer Society.
