Hanley "Rowdy" Gray

GRAY, MR. HANLEY ''ROWDY'' Muskegon, MI formerly of Spring Lake, MI Mr. Hanley ''Rowdy'' Gray, age 76, died Wednesday, August 20, 2003. He was born in DeWitt, KY on July 15, 1927 to Mackie & Mary Hocker Gray & married the former Rosie ''Frances'' Slowick on May 20, 1952. Mr. Gray had been employed as a Shipping & Packing Clerk at Brunswick Corp. for 38 years until retiring in 1988 & had also owned & operated Grays Marina. He had attended First Congregational Church in Fruitport & enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling, boat maintenance & auto auctions. SURVIVORS 5 sons, Bruce Nancy Gray & William Debra Gray, both of Muskegon, MI, Michael Rosemary Gray of TX, Hobert Bonnie Gray of FL & Herbert Lori Gray of Grand Haven, MI; 5 daughters, Suzanne Lewis Orshal of Twin Lake, MI, Linda Randy Westedt of Nunica, MI, Brenda Herman Scholte of Fruitport, MI, Sandra Ashley & Terrie Isaias Reyes, both of Grand Haven, MI; 29 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; sister, Bobbie Jean Lightfoot of Muskegon, MI; sister-in-law, Mrs. Stanley Gray of Muskegon, MI; several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Rosie ''Frances''; his second wife, Renalda; son, John Gray; a grandson, Keith Westedt & by his brother, Stanley Gray. SERVICE Monday, August 25, 2003, 1:00 PM at First Congregational Church of Fruitport with Rev. Ron DePung officiating. Interment at Spring Lake Cemetery. VISITATION Sunday, 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Clock Funeral Home-Fruitport. MEMORIAL: American Diabetes Association. Clock - Fruitport
