Haley Clarkton Potts, Sr. age 75, passed away Monday, October 2, 2023. He was born in Muskegon, MI on June 17, 1948 to Edward & Lizzie Mae Potts and served his country in the US Army in Germany during the Vietnam War. Haley worked for th Muskegon County Road Commision for 30 years retiring in 1998 as the Director of Traffic and Safety. He attended Holy Trinity Institutional Church of God in Christ and was also active in the local Democratic Party. Haley was a a well known area Musician and Entertainer as a singer and a self taught Flute player. Like the Pied Piper, "Sweet P" often played his flute during his performances. He performed with his own band R&R Krostye and also with other area groups.

SURVIVORS

Sons, Keith Chandler Knight, Haley Potts Jr.; sisters, Eddie Mae Childrey and Landi Lee (Benny) Walters; former spouse, Gurdiarene Potts and a host of sisters, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Ed Rose, Nathaniel, and James Potts and a sister Florence.

CELEBRATION OF LIFE

A Celebration of Life Open House will take place on Thursday, October 12, 2023, from 1:00 - 4:00PM at Clock Funeral Home with a Time of Sharing at 3:00 PM.
