Gust J. Afendoulis

AFENDOULIS, MR. GUST JOHN Wyoming, MI Mr. Gust J. Afendoulis, age 78, died Wednesday, June 15, 2005. He was born in Grand Rapids on August 20, 1926 to John & Stella Gavrelidis Afendoulis and married the former Magdalene Gabriel on October 17, 1954. Mr. Afendoulis had served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He had been employed as a liquor salesman for many years and was also a driver for Quest Diagnostics for 13 years. He was a member of Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church and AHEPA, the American Legion, and an avid handyman. SURVIVORS Wife of 50 years, Magdalene; son, John Afendoulis of CA; daughter, Nicci Ken Clark of Whitehall; 4 grandchildren, John, David, Tim & Tom Clark; brother, Clark Katie Afendoulis of Grand Rapids. SERVICE Monday, June 20, 2005, 11:00 AM at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church with Fr. James Bogdan officiating. Interment at Restlawn Cemetery in Grand Rapids.
