CHRISTIE KLOOSTER, MRS. GRETCHEN E. North Muskegon Mrs. Gretchen E. Christie Klooster passed away Saturday, October 9, 2004. She was born Gretchen Elizabeth Bush on April 28, 1925 to Albert & Lusetta Poole Bush. Gretchen was a veteran of WWII having served in the WAVES and was a graduate of MSU. For 30 years, she brought the joy of art to many of her students at Muskegon Heights Schools, to many friends, and to her family. Preceded in death by her first husband Paul S. Christie Jr.; she married Charles Klooster in 1999. SURVIVORS husband, Charles Klooster; sons, Dr. Paul S. Nancy Christie of North Muskegon & Matthew Christie of Traverse City; grandchildren, Brian Christie of Los Angeles, CA, Aubrey Christie of Kalamazoo & Jessica Christie of Traverse City & a sister, Lusetta Robert Eberhardt of Kauai. She was preceded in death by her brothers Orrin Yvonne Bush & Albert Bush. MEMORIAL GATHERING Saturday, October 16, 2004, 2-4 PM, at the Clock Funeral Home.
