Gregory Linn Spooner

Spooner, Mr Gregory Linn Ravenna, MI Gregory Linn Spooner, age 71, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 25, 2022. Greg was born on April 21, 1929 in Traverse City, MI to Ira and Margaret Spooner, he was one of thirteen children. Greg was multi-faceted, was a line cook for a Men's rehabilitation center and the Beltline Bar, he was an excellent cook. He also worked at Granny's kitchen in the 70's. If you saw the little granny rocking in her rocking chair, that was Greg. He always would make delicious burritos for the whole family. Lastly, he worked at J & L roofing in Grand Rapids. Mr. Spooner loved to write poetry and listen to music, he would often write poems for his dear friend Lia who lives miles away. Greg loved his family, his sons Eric and Gregory, his grandchildren, his wife of many years Jane, and daughter Mariah. He also loved all animals, especially birds, he never wanted any animals to get hurt. His clever humor, and loving smile will be missed very much. Greg made it right with the Lord and we will meet him again in Heaven. SUVIVORS Sons, Greg Spooner, Eric Spooner; other family, Leonna (Bob) Hooter, Gaylin Boeskeel, Paula (Steve) Hard, Kime Goode; brother, Burt (Lichele) Spooner. Between them all, Greg leaves behind many children and grandchildren. Greg was preceded in death by sisters, Kathy, Shelly; twin brothers, Jerry Spooner, Roy Spooner, Ray Spooner; brothers, Bill Goode, and Bart Good. CELEBRATION OF LIFE The family will be having a Celebration of Life for Greg in August. --
