Gregory Peake

Gregory Earl Peake, 68, of Muskegon, MI, passed away peacefully on December 14, 2025. Born on November 13, 1957, to Edward and Lois (Fox) Peake, Greg's life was one filled with love, laughter, and a few great cooking adventures. He married Lizbeth Berghuis in 1999, and although she left this world far too soon in 2003, the memories they shared brought him much happiness.

Greg attended Orchard View Schools and earned his keep as a welder and machinist at Structural Concepts, where he dedicated many years before retirement. Known for his skills both on the job and in the kitchen, he had a knack for making meals that brought people together. When he wasn't busy working or cooking up a storm, you could find him out hunting or fishing, embracing the great outdoors he loved.

Greg was a devoted dad and enjoyed giving his children unique and funny nicknames that brought laughter to family gatherings. He leaves behind his son, Jacob (Elexis Fisk) Peake; daughters Elaina (Micah) Woller, Rachel (Andrew) Norton, and Veronica Peake; as well as grandchildren Bryce, Bianca, Piper, Drew, Emmett, and Jace. He is also survived by his brothers, Mike (Mary) Peake and Scott (Terry) Barton, sister Shelley (Larry) Tejchma, and former spouse Tamara Nummerdor. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lizbeth, and his sister, Vicki Houseman.
