Grace Marie Veldman

VELDMAN, MRS. GRACE MARIE Muskegon Mrs. Grace M. Veldman, age 78, died Monday, March 15, 2004. She was born in Muskegon, MI on November 25, 1925 to Harold & Orpha Burkett Zimmerman & married F. Gerrit Veldman on September 4, 1945. Mrs. Veldman had been employed as a Radiology Technician at Hackley Hospital & later worked for Dr. Stone & Dr. Stubbart until retiring. She was a lifetime member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, a member for 71 years of the American Legion Auxiliary holding all Local and State officer positions, National Executive Committee Chairperson, Muskegon City Chair person for March of Dimes & attended Girls State at UofM. Mrs. Veldman enjoyed her family & grandchildren. SURVIVORS Husband, Gary; 1 son, Burt Lee Sharon Veldman of Muskegon; 1 daughter, Barbara Lynn Arie Bronkhorst of Austin, TX; 3 grandchildren, Barbara, Jodi & John of Austin, TX; 4 great grandchildren, Ashley, Nikolas, Zachary & Caroline; 2 sisters, Charlotte Schoonbeck of Muskegon & Dorathy Allan Ortquist of Norton Shores; 1 half-brother, Harold Jeanne Boardman of Oxnard, CA.
