Gordon Hornby

Gordon Hornby, Jr., age 70, passed away on December 14, 2007. Gordon was born January 19, 1937 to Gordon Sr. and Anna Marie in Chicago. He graduated from Grand Haven High School in 1954 and from Muskegon Community College in 1956. Gordon served in the United States Navy from 1957 to 1959. He worked for Gordon Sr. at West Michigan Rubber and Supply in Muskegon and later became President and Owner. He was preceded in death by his mother, Anna Marie, and father, Gordon Sr. Gordon is survived by loving companion Becky Gelonese; brother, Michael (Sue) in Traverse City Michigan; sister, Judy Ennenga, of Spring Lake; sons, Gordon III (Lori) of Ocala Florida and Kurt (Chris) of Grand Haven; and daughter, Abigail Knue of Brighton. MI. Gordon had five grandchildren, one great- grandchild, and six nieces and nephews. Gordon spent the last seven years as a resident of Naples, FL, enjoying the sun, sand, and water. Services were held on January 4 in Naples.
