HOFFMAN, MR. GORDON F. Muskegon Mr. Gordon F. Hoffman, age 79, died Monday, May 9, 2005 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Muskegon, MI on September 8, 1925 to James & Mildred Tufts Hoffman & married the former Blanche Dean on October 4, 1946 in Muskegon, MI. Gordon served in the U.S. coast Guard. He had been employed at Anaconda Wire & Cable for 35 years until retiring. He was a member of Laketon Bethel Reformed Church, Muskegon Eagles #668, Vikings Linne Lodge & Hesperia American Legion. Gordon enjoyed visiting family & friends, wintering in Florida, cribbage, camping & loved to fix things, "Jack of all trades, master of none." SURVIVORS Wife, Blanche; 1 son, Doug Lisa Hoffman of Traverse City, MI; 2 daughters, Jo Chuck Bergbower of Muskegon & Terri Mike Forward of Muskegon; 6 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents & by a brother, Roy Hoffman. MEMORIAL SERVICE Friday, May 13, 2005, 11:00 AM at Laketon Bethel Reformed Church with Dr. Sherwin Brantsen officiating.
