Gordon Ambrose

Mr. Gordon Ambrose, age 85, died Friday, November 19, 2010. He was born in Muskegon, MI on May 15, 1925 to Zigmas & Helen (Austrauskas) Ambrose and served his country in the US Army during WWII. He married the former Esther McClellan in 1970. Mr. Ambrose had been employed as a Regional Manager at Plumbs for 30 years until retiring. In his retirement he worked security at the Muskegon Art Museum. He was a member of Central United Methodist Church and life time member of the Muskegon Elk. SURVIVORS Sons, Brad Ambrose of Muskegon, Dan (Barbara) Ambrose of Muskegon; daughter, Lynn Burmeister of Muskegon; step children, Betsy (Roy) Dyrdal of Frankfort, Joy Jensen of Alberta, Gerald Little of Alberta; many grandchildren; several great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Esther in 2005. SERVICE Tuesday, November 23, 2010, 1:00 PM at Central United Methodist Church with Pastor Diane Gordon officiating. VISITATION Monday, 6-8 PM at Clock Life Story Funeral Home - Muskegon.
