Goerres, Elizabeth H.

Mrs. Goerres, age 94, died October 28, 2006. Born March 8, 1912, in Chicago, to Andrew and Rosella (Platner) Lerner, she had lived in the White Lake area since 1999, coming here from Illinois. On September 4, 1933, in Chicago, she married Roy G. Goerres, who preceded her in death in 1983. Mrs. Goerres had been a homemaker and was affiliated with St. James Catholic Church in Montage. FAMILY: A daughter, Marilyn Curran of Whitehall; a son, Raymond Goerres of IL; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; 1 sister, Frances Roe; 2 brothers, Robert (Dorothy) Lerner and Thomas (Mary) Lerner. FUNERAL LITURGY: Thursday, November 2, 1006, at 11:00 AM, from St. James Catholic Church with the Rev. Fr. Chris W.Rouech presiding. Entombment will be made in Crestview Mausoleum - Hot Springs, Arkansas. A Vigil Service will be held Wednesday, 7:00 PM, at Clock Funeral Home in Whitehall.
