Glen J. Bowers BOWERS, MR. GLEN J. Norton Shores Mr. Glen J. Bowers, age 97, died Wednesday, January 18, 2006. He was born in Mishawaka, IN on June 19, 1908 to Joseph & Ida (Lindsey) Bowers & married the former Evelyn Guthrie. Mr. Bowers had been employed as a Tool Designer at Norge & Whirlpool for 22 years until retiring in 1968. He enjoyed fishing, hunting & camping. SURVIVORS 1 son, Glen "Coffee" (Mary) Bowers of Muskegon; 2 grandchildren, Sallie (Daryl) LaBello of FL & Eric (Leandra) Bowers of Ferrysburg; 1 great granddaughter, Erica Bowers; 1 sister-in-law, Rohma Bowers of CA; several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn in 2001, 3 brothers & 2 sisters. SERVICE Saturday, January 21, 2006, 12:00 PM at Sunrise Memorial Gardens Chapel with Pastor Scott Church officiating. Interment at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. VISITATION Saturday, one hour prior to the service at Sunrise Memorial Gardens Chapel. MEMORIAL: Salvation Army.
