MCFARLAND, MRS. GLADYS P. West Olive Gladys P. McFarland, 68, of West Olive died Friday, June 4, 2004 at her home. She was born August 13, 1935 to Francis and Sarah Wiley McCann in Ware, MA. She was a homemaker and a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. Mrs. McFarland enjoyed gardening, sewing and knitting, but foremost was her family. SURVIVORS Husband of 45 years Kenneth R. McFarland; 2 sons, Jim Kathy McFarland, Tom Elena Rios McFarland both of Holland; daughter, Sara McFarland ; son in law, David Owsiak both of West Olive; 7 grandchildren, Lindsey, Logan, Lauren, Ross, Elizabeth, Henry and Amanda; brother, Jim Jeanne McCann of MA; Several in laws, nieces & nephews. Mrs. McFarland was preceded in death by her daughter, Karen Owsiak in April, 2004 and sister, Frances O'Reilly. SERVICE Wednesday, June 9, 2004, 11:00 AM, at St. John's Lutheran Church, 527 Taylor, Grand Haven, with Rev. Dieter Haupt officiating. VISITATION At the church one half hour prior to the service.
