Gladys Kuzyk

Gladys Kuzyk KUZYK, MRS. GLADYS Muskegon Mrs. Gladys Kuzyk, age 93, passed away at a local nursing January 16, 2006. She was born September 25, 1912 in Whitehall, MI to Fredrick and Beatrice (Talbot) Bowen and was a life long resident of the area. She married Matthew A. Kuzyk in Muskegon on August 14, 1931 and he preceded her in death on July 9, 1983. Mrs. Kuzyk was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, the Women of the Moose, Harbor Towne Yacht Club and the Kitchen Rambler Band. She and her husband owned and operated Matt's Boat Livery Bait & Tackle for 45 years until retiring in 1988. SURVIVORS: 1 sister, Mary Bowen Allore of Muskegon; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Frederick T. Bowen, Edward Henry Bowen and George P. Bowen; and 1 sister, Amy Bowen Miller. The FUNERAL LITURGY will be held Saturday 11 A.M. at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 1006 Third St., Fr. Joe Ashby presiding. INTERMENT: Mona View Cemetery.
