Giles Hamm Sr.

Mr. Giles Alton Hamm, Sr., age 84, died Saturday, July 7, 2007. He was born August 12, 1922 in Dyersberg, TN to Giles Anthony & Martha JoAnna (Doughton) Hamm. Mr. Hamm was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of WWII and Korea. He retired from Dresser Industries in 1994, was an avid outdoorsman, enjoyed hunting and fishing, playing cards dice games. He was also a former boxer and Golden Gloves Champion in TN. SURVIVORS Loving Companion and best friend, Virginia May Brooks; children, Giles (Eleanor) Hamm, Jr. of German Town, TN, Michael (Barbara) Hamm of New Port Richey, FL, Tony (Kim) Hamm of Ludington, Paula (E.F.) Worden of Memphis, TN, Tonya (Dave) Baker of Fountain, MI; 17 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; also survived by Don (Pat) Stewart, Gary (Amy) Brooks, Jeanne Hippler and Judy (Rob) Treptow.
