Gertrude L. Townsend

Gertrude L. Townsend was born on March 4, 1933 and passed away on October 24, 2008. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Julia M. Townsend. Gertrude is survived by her husband, Robert A.; daughter, Trudy A. Townsend; two sons, Robert M. (Gayle), and Gerald R.; a sister, Dorothy Carnes; two brothers, Carl (Linda) Quinn and Richard (Clara) Quinn; eight grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren. Gertrude graduated from Muskegon Heights in 1951. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at the Muskegon Seventh Day Adventist Church, 3040 Evanston Ave. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to Robert Townsend.
