Gertrude "Kay" Sokolowski, age 87, was born in Ludington on February 25, 1920, and passed away on October 31, 2007. She married Leopold Sokolowski in 1944 and he preceded her in death in 2001. Kay was a self employed cosmetologist. She is survived by two children, Richard (Carolyn) and Dee (Ken) Piszczek; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. According to her wishes cremation has taken place and no services will be held.
