SHIRK, MRS. GERALDINE M. ''JERI'' Twin Lake, MI Mrs. Geraldine M. ''Jeri'' Shirk, age 82, died Wednesday, November 27, 2002. She was born in Canton, OH on October 1, 1920 to Merrill & Esther Mauer Miller & married Cloyde Shirk in Chicago, IL on December 17, 1942. Prior to retiring in 1985, Mrs. Shirk had worked at Hackley Hospital as a Licensed Practical Nurse for 23 years. She was a very active member of Dalton Baptist Church throughout the years. She & her husband founded Faith Baptist Church of Muskegon & Baldwin Baptist Church. SURVIVORS 5 sons, Robert Debra Shirk of Holton, MI, Daniel Sara Shirk of WI, Gene Erma Shirk of Kent City, MI, Steven Shirk of Grand Rapids, MI & Wayne Jan Shirk of Twin Lake, MI; 1 daughter, Joyce Shirk of Grand Rapids, MI; 20 grand-children; 12 great-grandchildren; several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cloyde in 1988. SERVICE Monday, December 2, 2002, 11:00 AM at Dalton Baptist Church with Pastor Eric Coulon officiating.
