Gerald A. Ross

Mr. Ross, age 72, passed away Sunday evening, Dec. 16, 2007, at home following a short illness. He was born Gerald Archie Ross, the son of Ralph I. and Aouda (Storms) Ross, on July 4, 1935, in Bridgeton Township. He graduated from White Cloud High School and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. On Nov. 29, 1958, he joined Wanda L. Conley in marriage at Hesperia. He was formerly employed as an electrician at Kaydon Corp. and was a member of American Legion Post 397 in Holton and the VFW. Survivors include: His wife, Wanda; his father, Ralph I. Ross of White Cloud; a son, Gerald Ross of Twin Lake; two daughters, Constance (Kevin) Nelski of Twin Lake and Krista (Steve) McMiller of ND; four sisters, Mable (Lou) Haase of Muskegon, Julie Stockner of Newaygo, Wanda LaBelle and Lisa Ross, both of White Cloud; four grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. His mother, Aouda Ross, passed away earlier. A Memorial Service will be held at a future date.
