RAY, MR. GERALD LOGAN Muskegon Mr. Gerald Logan Ray, age 90, died Friday, March 10, 2006. He was born in Jay County, IN on December 4, 1915 to Linas Douglas & Elizabeth (VanDoren) Ray and raised on a farm in Buckley, Michigan. He married Henrietta Medema on June 10, 1939 in Muskegon, MI. Mr. Ray had been employed for 36 years as a bus driver for Greyhound Bus Lines. He was a member of Laketon Bethel Reformed Church, the Masons, enjoyed golf, woodworking, hunting, fishing, and travel. SURVIVORS Wife, Henrietta; 1 son, Gerald (Kathy) Ray of WA; 1 daughter, Sharron (Larry) Gunn of Twin Lake, MI; 5 grandchildren, Michael & Scott Gunn; Jerry, Bryan & Spencer Ray; 3 great grandchildren, Aaron, Alec & Cameron Gunn; 2 sisters, Mildred (John) Runyon of Buckley, MI & Norma March of Davison, MI; many nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents & a brother, Von. SERVICE Wednesday, March 15, 2006, 11:00 AM, at Laketon Bethel Reformed Church with Dr. Sherwin Brantsen officiating. Interment at Oakwood Cemetery. VISITATION Tuesday, 7-9 PM, at the Clock Funeral Home & Wednesday, at the church, one hour prior to the service. MEMORIAL: Laketon Bethel Reformed Church Building Fund.
