Gerald Lee Morris

Mr. Gerald Lee Morris, age 65 passed away October 28, 2008 at his home. He was born September 15, 1943 in Grand Rapids to Jackson and Jean (Schnurer) Morris. Gerald married the former Florence Kroll on August 7, 1964 in Portage, MI. He worked for 13 years at Johnson Tool and Engineering in Muskegon. Gerald attended St. Patrick's Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Florence; two daughters; Deborah (Gappy) Tjan of Short Hills, NJ, and Barbara Morris of Grand Haven, MI; son; Daniel (Kimberly) Morris of Texas; 4 grandchildren; father; Jack Morris; and sister; Judy (Tony) Bell of Portage, MI. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Gerald was preceded in death by his mother Jean. The Funeral Mass for Gerald will be held at 10:30a.m. on Friday October 31, 2008 at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church with Father William Langlois and Father Michael Shea officiating. Interment will be in Lake Forest Cemetery. Friends may meet the family Thursday from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. with a Scripture Service at 8:30 p.m. at the Klaassen Family Funeral Home and also one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.
