Gerald August Dibble, 72, of Muskegon, passed away Thursday, June 20, 2024.

Gerry was born March 17, 1952, the son of Jerome and Alfretta Dibble. Gerry worked as a police officer for Muskegon Heights Police Department and later at Roosevelt Park and North Muskegon Police Department . He was a member of the Coopersville Sportsman's Club, the Fraternal Order of Police, and was active in Boy Scouts of America. He taught countless students Hunters Safety for over 40 years and was the Hunters Education Coordinator for Muskegon County. Gerry also was the Pipe Major for the Muskegon Regional Police Pipes and Drums as well as taught several students how to play over the years. As an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, mushroom picking. In his down time he enjoyed spending time with his wife, dogs, and puttering around his house. He was a fair, strong, loyal, impactful man who will be deeply missed.



SURVIVORS

Wife, Jodi Dibble; children, Andrew (Janie) Dibble, Darren Dibble, Karri Dibble, and

Sicily Bordeaux-Dibble; 10 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; brothers, Ron (Nancy)

Dibble, Bob (Pam) Dibble, his twin, Jerome (Robbin) Dibble, and Dan Dibble; sister,

Elaine (Robert) Price; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

SERVICES

11:00 AM on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at Clock Funeral Home 1469 Peck Street

Muskegon. Visitation will take place on Monday from 4-7PM as well as one hour prior to

the start of the service on Tuesday. Interment will be at Floral View Memorial Gardens in

Grandville.
