DEYOUNG, MR. GERALD M. "JERRY" Spring Lake Mr. Gerald M. "Jerry" DeYoung, age 76, died Friday, December 16, 2005. He was born in Muskegon on June 20, 1929 to Tom & Eunice King DeYoung. Mr. DeYoung had served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He had been employed as a machinist at American Coil Spring until retiring in 1987. He was a member of Calvary Temple Church, and was an avid softball player & golfer. SURVIVORS 3 daughters, Vicki Jerome Motley of Spring Lake, Teresa Jeffery Platt of CO, Brenda Stephen Hill of Grand Haven; 6 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; sister, Carol Jerry Lannoo of Alpena, MI; 2 brothers, Tom DeYoung of Mexico, Ron Nancy DeYoung of MO; stepson, Richard Huss of Fruitport; 3 stepdaughters, Donna Michael Whitcomb of Kalamazoo, Denise McMillan of Fruitport, Dawn Dave Tenbrink of Nunica; 2 nieces, Bonnie Hook, Susan Alfonse, both of FL & ex-wife, Edith DeYoung of Fruitport. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Susan DeYoung, his brother, Kenneth DeYoung & his first wife, Beverly J. Berry. SERVICE Monday, December 19, 2005, 11:00 AM at Calvary Temple Church of Fruitport, 2956 E. Pontaluna Rd. with Rev. Delbert Yoder officiating.
