George Szendre

SZENDRE, MR. GEORGE Roosevelt Park Mr. George Szendre, age 80 passed away July 30, 2005 after a short illness of seven months. He was born June 24, 1925 in Copemish, Michigan and on August 18, 1945 married the former Lila Isaacson. Mr. Szendre lived in the Muskegon area for over 50 years. George had worked at the Norge Plant for twenty years, here and at Fort Smith Arkansas. He then worked as an insurance agent with Woodman Accident and Life for 20 years prior to his retirement in 1986. George was an avid hunter and fisherman. SURVIVORS He is survived by his wife of 60 yrs, Lila; 2 sisters, Mary Macklam of Ludington, MI. & Wilma Noonan of Roosevelt Park, M, as well as several loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 6 brothers, Bill, Pete, Louie, Joe, Sam, and Frank. MEMORIAL SERVICE Wednesday, Aug 3, 2005, 2:00pm at the Clock Chapel with Rev. Clifford Lones officiating. Interment at Cleon Twp Cemetery. Memorial: Hospice of Muskegon /Oceana. CLOCK - Muskegon
