George Sias

Mr. George A. Sias, age 49, died Monday, January 9, 2012 after a long struggle with end stage lung disease. He gave the gift of life by donating his organs. George was born in Muskegon on August 13, 1962 to Arvid & Verley (Stidham) Sias and married his high school sweetheart, the former Vanessa Brenning in 1983 and in 1988 their only son, Noah, was born. Mr. Sias was a substation operator at Consumer's Energy for 19 years. He was an active member of Northside Christian Church where he was a Sunday school teacher and was especially dedicated to his ministry at Northcrest Living Center. George enjoyed art, motorcycles, music and loved to travel. Foremost was his love for Jesus which showed in everything he did. SURVIVORS Wife, Vanessa; son, Noah (Jene'e Patitucci); brothers, Arvid (Cathy), William (Lisa), Roy (Chan); father in law, Leroy Miner; many nieces & nephews. SERVICE Saturday, January 14, 2012, 3:00 PM and visitation 1 hour prior to the service at the Clock Chapel - Muskegon. Interment at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
