George R. Scougale

George R. Scougale, age 90, passed away October 30, 2008. He is survived by his wife, Helen Jane; two sons, Ray (Carol) Scougale of North Muskegon and George L. (Chris Schiller) Scougale of Muskegon; three daughters, Judy (Dave) Aguilar of Muskegon, Jean Scougale of Lansing, and Kay (Steve) Korc of Spring Lake; nine grandchildren; and five great- grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, James Scougale, in 2001. He is also survived by his dog, Blackie. George retired from Teledyne Continental Motors after 38 years of service. George was a member and past master of Muskegon Masonic Lodge #140 FNAM. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Army during WWII, and a life member VFW Post 446. According to his wishes, cremation has taken place and no visitation or funeral service will be held.
