George Charles Schofield

Schofield Jr., Mr. George Charles Muskegon, Michigan Mr. George Schofield, age 90, passed away Sunday, May 16, 2021. He was born in Muskegon, Michigan on February 16, 1931 to George & Lena (Miller) Schofield Sr. and served his country in the US Navy on the USS Macon during the Korean War. He married the former Charlet Benedict in 1954. Mr. Schofield had been employed as a Construction Worker in the Lathers Local Union until retiring after 50 years. George was a member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church, he enjoyed yard work and keeping everything looking beautiful. SURVIVORS Daughter, Linda (Gary) Nelson; Son, David Schofield; Grandchildren, Jennifer Schofield, Robin (Jason Gant) Schofield, Robert (Sarah) Schofield, Heather (Jessie) Richards, David Hover; Great-grandchildren, Colton, Charlet, Regan, Liberty.
