Mr. George H. Perry Sr., age 75, died Saturday, February 20, 2010. He was born in South Kingston, RI on February 25, 1934 to Fredrick & Carrie (Hurley) Perry and served in the US Army. He married the former Patricia Hill on April 19, 1975. Mr. Perry had been employed as a machine operator at Brunswick for 37 years until retiring in 1996. He enjoyed NASCAR Racing including going to Winston Speedway, breakfast with his cronies at Herbie's Cafe, family casino outings and picnics on Lake Michigan. George loved his yard work and gardens. SURVIVORS Wife of 34 years, Pat; daughter; Margie (William) Calkins of Nunica; sons, George (Candy) Perry Jr. of Montague, Johnnie Perry of Muskegon; 9 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; brothers, Fredrick Perry of RI, James Perry of CT; sisters, Zaida Kissisk of RI, Dorcas Tisserand of FL, Elizabeth Dinwoodie of RI, Patricia Thayer of CT; several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Francis, Phoebe, Ella; brothers, John, Charlie. SERVICE Wednesday, February 24, 2010, 3:00 PM at Clock Chapel - Muskegon with Pastor Karen Biggerstaff officiating. VISITATION Wednesday, 1 hour prior to the service at Clock Life Story Funeral Home - Muskegon. MEMORIAL: Harbor Hospice.
