Mr. George Neal Jr, age 80, passed away Saturday, June 15, 2024. He was born in Camden, AR on August 6, 1943 to George & Mary (Nunley) Neal and married his Jr High School sweetheart, the former Leverne (Gilbert) Neal. The couple had been married for over 60 years. Mr. Neal had been employed as a CNC Machinist for Kaydon Corporation until retiring after 30 years. George was a Jehovah's Witness and greatly enjoyed photography, techology, music, eating homecooked meals, tending to his yard, and was a food fanatic. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

SURVIVORS

Daughter, Vernita Reshel Neal; son, Monte Si'mon Neal; grandchildren, Tamara Winston, George Quincy Neal IV, Romero Geo'nee Neal, Chrystal Yvette Neal, George Thaddeus Neal IV, and Payton Williams; 14 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren, brother in law Lee Charles (Leticia) Gilbert, sister in law Geraldine (Edmon) Hutcherson, cousins, nieces and nephews. Mr. Neal was preceded in death by his wife, Leverne, son, George Ren'ee Neal III, his parents, and sister, Dorothy Bradford.
