McDonell, Mr. George Clarence Fruitport, Michigan Mr. George Clarence McDonell, age 78, passed away Sunday, July 11, 2021. He was born in Muskegon, MI on August 17, 1942 to George & Ruthanne (Gauthier) McDonell. He married the former Rosemarie Krehn. Mr. McDonell had been employed as a truck driver at Lappo Lumber for over 35 years until retiring. George enjoyed being a part of the Muskegon County Sheriff Posse for over 30 years. SURVIVORS Children, George (Lavonne) McDonell, Angela (Scott) Hilgeman, Cherri (Rudy) Erickson; 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; siblings, Connie (Phillip) Tissue, Peggy Ann (Joe) Cassell, Wanda Lee (Charles) Fulkerson; many nieces, nephews, cousins & friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Rosemarie; sister, Ruth Anne. SERVICE Wednesday, July 21, 2021, 11:00 AM with visitation one hour prior to the service at Clock Chapel - Muskegon with Rev. Carlos Ramos officiating.
